Lenski students can access the Grolier Encyclopedia online this year. 

You can use Grolier, an online encyclopedia, on your home computer if you have access to the Internet; just follow the directions. You will need the Lenski user name and password which is available to all Lenski families by contacting the Lenski library during the school day.

  • 1. Type http://go.grolier.comin the Internet address box.
  • 2. Log on to the site with user name and password: (Please contact Lenski Library for information)

  • Today Is… - Find out what happened on this date in history
  • News Now – News from the Associated Press including Feature Stories, International News Desk, World Newspapers, and From the Editor’s Desk

Book Adventure http://bookadventure.org 
Book Adventure is a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children create their own book lists from over 6,000 titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they have read, and earn points and prizes for their literary successes.

The Enchanted Learning www.enchantedlearning.com  
This website offers an online picture dictionary called Little Explorers, as well as information on many topics including; dinosaurs, space, explorers, inventors, and animals. The site gives many ideas for activities and craft projects. Grades K-3

Starfall www.starfall.com
This is a wonderful, interactive website for preschoolers through 2nd graders that begins with letter sounds and phonics games and progresses to fun books for advanced beginning readers. There are many resources for parents on the site as well.

“NASA’s KSNNTM is a standards-based program that uses the Web, animation, and video to introduce science, technology, engineering, math, and NASA concepts.” Grades K-5
